These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Tom Watts Driving School (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the pupil (“you”, “your”) when booking and taking driving lessons. By booking lessons with us, you agree to these Terms.
All lessons must be booked in advance, either directly with Tom Watts Driving School or via the AA Driving School booking portal.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.
Lesson payments must be made in full at least 48 hours before the lesson start time.
If payment is not received 48 hours in advance, the lesson will be automatically cancelled.
Payments can be made securely through the AA booking portal or by other agreed methods.
If you cancel a lesson less than 48 hours before the start time, no refund will be given.
If you cancel a lesson more than 48 hours before the start time, the lesson can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
If the instructor cancels a lesson (e.g., due to illness, vehicle issues, or unforeseen circumstances), the lesson will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it upon request.
You must inform your instructor of any medical conditions or restrictions that may affect your ability to drive safely.
You must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair your driving ability.
We will provide a dual-controlled, fully insured, roadworthy vehicle for all lessons.
Lessons will be delivered professionally, safely, and tailored to your progress.
We reserve the right to terminate a lesson if a pupil’s behaviour or condition poses a safety risk.
Test bookings are managed via the DVSA booking system and are the responsibility of the pupil.
We can provide support and guidance, but we are not liable for test availability, cancellations, or DVSA delays.
We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during lessons, except where caused by negligence.
Pupils are responsible for any penalties or offences committed while driving during a test or lesson.
We collect and process your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
When booking through the AA portal, your data will also be processed in accordance with the AA’s Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
